The beginning
Shiv Shakti is founded in Gorakhpur under Anil Udyog with a single product — pure camphor tablets, made without synthetic mixing agents.

The founder's message
One evening in 1987, while performing aarti, the camphor did not burn clean. It sputtered, left a black residue and filled the room with a smell that did not belong there. That single moment of disturbed devotion asked a question that would not leave me.
I had no factory and no formula — only the conviction that shuddh camphor was worth making properly. We began small: one grade of camphor, one process, and a refusal to cut it with anything that would cheapen the flame.
Decades later, Shiv Shakti still stands on that same foundation. The scale has changed. The standard has not.

Our journey
From a single grade of camphor to a full range of puja essentials reaching India's holiest cities.
Shiv Shakti is founded in Gorakhpur under Anil Udyog with a single product — pure camphor tablets, made without synthetic mixing agents.
Camphor slabs join the range, made for temples and larger aartis where a longer, steadier burn matters.
The first Shiv Shakti agarbatti rolls out — same principle, different form. Natural binders, honest fragrance, no harsh chemical top-notes.
Production moves to our own unit at the Government Industrial Estate, Nathmalpur — with dedicated space for grading, pressing and sealed packing.
Dhoop cones, wet dhoop sticks and cup sambrani arrive — alongside small aarti pouches, so purity is affordable for every household.
Over twenty products travel to homes, temples, shops and distributors across India — and now direct to your door.
What we stand for
No synthetic extenders, no filler powders. If it cannot burn clean, it does not leave our floor.
Lights on the first touch, burns evenly to the end, and leaves no black ring on your aarti thali.
From a ₹5 aarti pouch to a 500g temple pack — the same camphor, priced so devotion is never a luxury.
Many of our distributors have been with us for over twenty years. We intend to keep it that way.
Inside the unit
Five stages, each with a checkpoint. Anything that fails one goes back — it never goes forward.
Camphor arrives in batches and is graded by hand for colour, crystal structure and aroma before anything is accepted.
A sample from every batch is burned. We look for a clean blue-white flame, no soot trail and no residue on the plate.
Approved camphor is compressed into tablets or slabs at controlled pressure, so they hold shape without crumbling in transit.
Camphor sublimates in open air, so packs are sealed immediately — this is why a Shiv Shakti pack still smells right months later.
Weight, seal integrity and batch coding are verified before the carton is closed and dispatched.
Every carton carries its batch reference, so any pack can be traced back to the day it was made.

The range today
Not every prayer needs the same thing. A morning aarti at home, an evening arti at a temple and a festival gift each ask for something different — so the range grew to meet them.
Every great journey begins with a simple purpose — ours was to bring shuddh, divine camphor to every home and every temple.
