The daily ritual

Set one piece on a dhoop holder or a heat-safe plate, away from curtains and loose cloth.
Touch a flame to the tip until it catches, then let the flame settle so it smoulders.
Let the smoke rise before the deity, or waft it gently through the room.
Allow it to burn out fully and never leave it unattended. Reseal the pack afterwards.
