By using this website or placing an order through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Shipping & Returns policy, both of which form part of this agreement.
This website is operated by Anil Udyog, trading as Shiv Shakti, Plot No. C-15, Govt. Industrial Estate, Nathmalpur, Gorakhnath, Gorakhpur – 273015, Uttar Pradesh, India. "We", "us" and "our" refer to that business; "you" refers to the person using this site.
You may place an order if you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. By ordering, you confirm that this is the case, and that the delivery details you give us are accurate and complete.
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Because camphor, agarbatti and dhoop are made in batches from natural and pressed material, small variations in colour, crystal size, shade and fragrance intensity are normal and are not defects.
Product photographs are illustrative. Screen colours vary, and gift packaging may change between production runs. The net weight and composition printed on the pack always take precedence over anything shown on this website.
Availability is not guaranteed. Some items sell out during festival periods and around Shivratri.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract comes into existence only when we confirm dispatch — not when the website shows an order summary, and not when payment is taken.
We may decline or cancel an order where:
Where we cancel, any amount already paid is refunded in full.
We accept UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking, and cash on delivery on eligible pin codes. Card and UPI details are handled entirely by our payment gateway — we never see or store them, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Orders are dispatched only once payment is confirmed, or once a cash-on-delivery order is verified. A GST invoice accompanies every consignment.
Delivery timelines, charges and the handling of failed deliveries are set out in Shipping & Returns. Timelines given there are estimates, not guarantees — once a consignment is with a courier, its network is outside our control.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please do not accept a consignment whose outer carton is torn, wet or already open; refusing it at the door is simpler for everyone than a claim afterwards.
You may cancel an order at no cost any time before dispatch. After dispatch, our returns policy applies.
In summary: sealed, unused packs may be returned within 7 days of delivery where they arrived damaged, wrong or short of declared weight. Opened camphor and incense cannot be returned, for hygiene and safety reasons. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Camphor, agarbatti, dhoop and sambrani are flammable and are not food. They are sold for ritual and fragrance use only. Please read this section before use.
We are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from use that disregards these instructions or the warnings printed on the pack.
Trade supply is governed by the separate written terms agreed with each partner, which prevail over these terms where they conflict. In outline:
See Become a Distributor for how appointment works.
The Shiv Shakti name and logo, our packaging designs, product photography, and the text and design of this website belong to us or are used with permission. You may not reproduce, adapt or use them commercially without our written consent.
Appointment as a distributor allows you to use our brand assets for the purpose of selling genuine Shiv Shakti products, and for nothing else. That permission ends when the appointment does.
Please do not:
We stand behind the products we make. Where a product is defective, our responsibility is to replace it or refund it under our returns policy.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example lost profit or lost business — arising from a delayed or defective consignment.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control — including transport strikes, courier network failures, floods, fire, epidemics, civil unrest, government restrictions or interruptions to power and telecommunications.
Where such an event affects your order, we will contact you and offer either a revised timeline or a full refund.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before going to court, please raise the matter with us — most complaints are resolved on the first phone call. If we cannot settle it between us, either party may pursue the remedies available under Indian law, including the consumer forums.
These terms are provided for information and do not constitute legal advice. They should be reviewed by a qualified professional before being relied upon.
